ELECTROPLATING
Cadmium and Zinc Electroplating at American Tinning & Galvanizing Company is certified and accredited by Nadcap (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors’ Accreditation Program). Cadmium Plating (QQP-416) – ATG has the capability to rack or bulk cadmium plate all types of configurations of customer’s product with plating thicknesses from .0002 to .0005. Post plating chromates are available in clear, gold and Olive Drab.
Zinc Plating (ASTM-B633) – If it is one part or thousands of parts, ATG can provide the zinc plating for your needs. Zinc plating in accordance to ASTM B633 is offered in rack and bulk plating. ATG offers RoHS compliant clear and gold chromates along with Black and Olive Drab Chromates.
Electroless Nickel – American Tinning & Galvanizing has just started up a new mid phosphorus electroless nickel tank in July of 2008. Electroless Nickel plating is an auto-catalytic reaction used to deposit a coating of nickel on a substrate. Unlike electroplating, it is not necessary to pass an electric current through the solution to form a deposit. This plating technique is to prevent corrosion and wear.
Zinc Phosphate – ATG is able to supply zinc phosphate coating to all type of products. We pride ourselves in our “hands” on processing insuring that each part is properly coated.
Black Oxide Finishing – ATG has the ability to offers “cold” black oxide finishers to its customers. From small nuts and bolts to large parts for the Military and Navy ATG can provide the service and turn around required.
